Crystal yi, Office Manager

Fueled by a strong desire to help others and create a more equitable society, Crystal left the corporate world to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector. Previously, she managed a hotel and restaurant in Alaska, a law firm in Florida, a bed & breakfast in upstate New York, and a coffee shop here in Maine. She has lived in two additional states and spent a month on the road. Her extensive customer service background and various travels equipped her with a broad perspective and a keen interest in people and their stories.

Crystal graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in psychology. She enjoys live music, leisurely hikes with her dog, and reading (specifically poetry, nonfiction, and memoirs). As a first-generation Asian American, she witnessed her mother struggle to navigate a new country with limited resources for immigrants. Crystal is honored to contribute to GPIWC's mission and looks forward to meeting new Mainers.
