U.S. Small Business Administration Programs and Services “SBA 101”

At the Portland Public Library:

The “SBA 101” will inform you, the entrepreneur and small business owner of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s programs and services that empower you to confidently start, grow, expand, or recover your business.  Information to be covered included resource partners that provide free business advising and workshops, selling to the government, access to capital, exporting assistance, and disaster assistance.

Brad Currie is the U.S. Small Business Administration, Senior Area Manager for Southern Maine.    Before coming to Maine, Brad held the positions of Economic Development Specialist and Administrative Officer for the SBA Colorado District Office starting in October 2013.  Brad earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Grantham University.  Brad retired from the U.S. Army Reserves in 2014.  His dedicated service in the military, Department of Veterans Affairs, and SBA total more than 25 years of active Federal service to date.  Brad has three children and a grandson that lives in Wiesbaden Germany.
